Sailor Moon Generation Gap Chapter 3 - Fire in the Hold! "C'mon, Ami-chan," Usagi said, dragging her blue-haired friend through the Crown Arcade. "You need the break. You can't study all the time." Ami's ponytail trailed behind her. "Usagi-chan, we have a test next week," she protested. "Your marks could be better, and I don't want Mouse-chan to beat me." "Don't worry about Mouse-chan. You're a genius; you always do well. I can't keep studying; I need this break. We'll go back to studying later. Besides, I think you'll love this game." Usagi stopped beside a game console. Amu looked over the game carefully. "Sailor Moon?" she asked. "They already made a game about her?" Usagi nodded. "Yep! Neat, huh?" Ami looked dubious. "I don't know, Usagi-chan. I didn't think games were made that quickly." "It's probably another game with the characters cahnged. Relax, Ami-chan. It's fun. You try." Ami sat down cautiously at the console. She inserted her token, and watched the game's introduction. After the cheery opening music, the game presented Ami with a choice of characters. She flipped through her choices; Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury. "Wow!" Usagi exclaimed. "I didn't have that choice last time I played." "There's only two characters, Usagi-chan," Ami said. "I know, but I didn't have the choice. I could only play Sailor Moon. Takao-san must have gotten an update yesterday. Cool!" Ami chose Mercury, then waited for the game to start. Usagi looked around to see who else was in the arcade. She recognized a few faces from Juuban, then noticed Kitomo Takao, the arcade's manager, looking at her. Usagi quckly brushed her long, red pigtails behind her and smiled back. Takao returned to his work. "Ami-chan?" Usagi started. "Mmm?" "Do you think Takao-san could be Tuxedo Kamen?" "I haven't seen him yet in this game." Usagi sighed as she realized how deep Ami was in the game. She watched as Ami reached the second goal in the game, a blond Senshi with a green skirt. Usagi could only get to that goal after a week of playing. She was amazed to see Ami get there on her first time playing. Ami's abilites soon failed her, though, and she lost her lives quickly after the goal. "I should have done better," Ami complained. "Ami-chan, that was amazing!" Usagi said. "No-one has done that well at the game their first time." "Maybe," Ami said doubtfully. "Don't start obessesing over the game, too." "Who says I obsess?" "We better go back to studying, Ami-chan." "About time, too." The two girls left the arcade, accidentally bumping into a dark-haired girl at the door. All three apologized, then disentagled themselves. Usagi and Ami ran off to the library. They never noticed the girl staring intently at them. -**- Lady Muerte stared down at the kneeling . kept his head bowed, trying to avoid eye contact. ", another Sailor Senshi has appeared. I warned you before about the dangers these brats pose to us. You were supposed to eliminate Sailor Moon, not find more Senshi." Without looking up, answered simply, "Yes, Lady Muerte." "Do you think you can eliminate Sailor Moon before any more Senshi appear?" "I do, Lady Muerte. I have a plan that I will carry out successfully, or die trying." "See that you do." -**-
